Destiny Houston is a Washington, D.C.-based manga artist/model known as Zombie Monroe who started drawing at the age of six. She has always been fascinated with horror films, which inspired her to create her own fictional zombie characters.
She says that she gave herself the name "Zombie Monroe" because she grew up with a lot of obstacles in life, making her feel like the walking dead. Through it all, Destiny started putting her feelings into the creation of her artwork, which has even caught the eyes of Pharrell Williams. She's currently modeling and working on upcoming art pieces and projects.
