See Po-Chih Lai's Innovative Stair Rover Skateboard in Action (Video)

We want one of these so bad.

An eight-wheeled skateboard with trucks mounted on the top of the deck sounds insane, but seeing this "Stair Rover" design by Royal College of Art graduate Po-Chih Lai being skated around a city and down a massive flight of stairs makes us drool a little. The design of skateboards haven't changed much since they were invented, so for Lai to go to such an extreme with this makes it even more impressive. Obviously not being on the board ourselves, we don't know how it rides, and those stairs look like hell on the ankles and knees, but we would still love to get our hands on it.
