In case you've been living under a rock, we should tell you that Skillshare is one of the best online resources for learning just about everything there is to know from real people. Anyone with a skillset in anything can register to teach a course and anyone interested can sign up, usually for a small fee. Jonathan Mannion taught a course on portrait photography earlier this year, Greg Selkoe of Karmaloop schooled people on unique ways to market products, and beginning today Mark Ecko will teach you a little about running a business in a course structed around Biggie Small's "10 Crack Commandments."

Another amazing course opening soon will be taught by Kidrobot founder Paul Budnitz. Budnitz started the vinyl toy company after being introduced to Michael Lau's designer toys in 2001. His Skillshare class entitled "Beautiful Plastic: Creating a Great Designer Toy" will cover the history of the designer toys since 1998, distinguish between designer and other types of toys, and teach you how to sketch and design your own through a series of video lessons and projects.
