As a daily project, Tumblr bloggerScorpion Dagger has decided to create funny "digital collages" using imagery from Renaissance paintings. Some of the GIFs place the subjects from the paintings in modern scenarios like subway platforms, surfing the Internet, and "Flutallica" concerts while others find a humorous way to spin the scene depicted. We love the use of technology like Google Glass and video games and the references to Internet culture (especially cute cat videos). To follow the project, check out scorpiondagger.tumblr.com.
