Christopher Wool's monochromatic paintings pose the question of "how a picture can be conceived, realized, and experienced today," according to the Guggenheim's website. Wools' first retrospective will be staged in Frank Lloyd Wright's rotunda, as well as an adjacent gallery, and will include paintings, photos, and works on paper.
