Timberland is coming out with the only boots you will need to wear this fall. Time and time again, the brand’s rugged boots have come through as some of the toughest footwear that could survive anywhere from gritty New York streets to the backwoods of Maine, and do it in style. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original wheat boot, the brand is releasing a few classic silhouettes that made the boot a best-seller for a special 40th Annivesary LTD Collection.

The Super Boot, World Hiker, and the classic 6” Yellow Boots, have all been upgraded with details like Vibram soles, PrimaLoft insulation, or the harsh weather tested Gore-Tex fabric. There are only 1,973 pairs made of each, a number that commemorates the year the original 6” Yellow Boots were first introduced. So if you want to make your signature ‘90s look official, cap it off with some old school wheat Timbs. And make sure to carry an eraser around to take care of those scuffs marks.

Timberland will also be having an auction for those looking for real exclusive pairs. Number 1 and 1,973 of each model will be put up on a 10-day auction and sold to the highest bidder. All proceeds will be donated to the Rainforest Alliance. Whatever the price ends up being, the winner will fell good knowing they donated to a great cause. The collection starts dropping September 25 at select retailers including KITH NYC.
