One glance at the website of Rome-based artist Mr. Thoms lets you know the incredible breadth of his talents. His portfolio includes: sketches, graphic design, decoration, a grip of gallery shows, illustrations, paintings, sculpture, and video, just to name a few of his proclivities. But it’s his wild street art that gets us revved up. Mr. Thoms has a way of melding his chosen canvas with his work in a devious, incredibly clever way. Never content with just a burner or a throw-up, the artist consistently uses pieces of his backdrop as elements of the piece itself.
