All attention is on Kanye West'sTwitter assault on Jimmy Kimmel last night—likening him to Spongebob Squarepants—but a huge piece of news regarding his fashion future has just come about. The rapper is said to have enlisted former Balmain designer Christophe Decarnin to help him return to the fashion world, British Vogue is reporting.

Kanye's eponymous clothing line last showed women's collections for spring/summer 2012 and fall/winter 2012 at Paris Fashion Week, but the clothing never received rave reviews. This power move could vault Kanye's fashion prowess into a new level. The publication reports that Kanye hopes to return to PFW and show a collection with Decarnin.

It was revealed earlier this year that Kanye wanted to bring back his clothing line, and even wanted it to look like a "sexy Margiela." He even moved to Paris to get inspired, and claims that he spends 80 percent of his time on fashion. With Kanye's latest rant during an interview on BBC 1 with Zane Lowe that expressed his views and hardships in fashion and a recent collaboration with French brand A.P.C., it looks like he's more poised than ever to finally make his long-anticipated mark in the fashion design world—and enlisting the skills and talents Decarnin might be the breakthrough he's been looking for.
