After much hype, teasers and a fashion week release party, the Phillip Lim for Target collaboration collection will be launching tomorrow. Like Prabal Gurung before him, Phillip Lim is expected to have a quickly sold out collection online and at Target stores all over the country, and for those with their eyes on a particular piece or two, it's a good idea to make some preparations.

Racked NY suggests going to the store at 7:30, as their reporter in New York went to the Prabal Gurung for Target release at 8 a.m. (when Target stores typically open) and was met with a decently-sized, but "mighty crowd."

If you're choosing to shop online and avoid other humans, shopping will begin sometime between 12 a.m. and 3 a.m., and people will be awake and ready to click.

Also be aware of the return policy in terms of the colllaboration pieces. The collections sell out quickly, and you may pick up a piece or two in the moment that you regret copping in the long run. In the case of the Neiman Marcus and Target collaboration, the store changed its return policy from 90 days to 10. The exclusivity of the items is cool in its own right, but browse the lookbook and try to evaluate what you really want before you brave the store or fill your shopping cart online.
