The Forest for the Trees Public Art Project Transforms Portland with Great Murals (Video)

A short time ago, we showed you a mural created by Meggs and Kamea Hadar for the Forest for the Trees (FFTT) art project, and now we have more great walls done for the project by 13 other artists including RoneGage HamiltonMadsteezYoskay YamamotoErik OttoTaka Sudo, and Marcelo Macedo.

In partnership with POW! WOW! Hawaii, the goal of the project was to bring a league of great artists to the Pacific Northwest to engage the public with the creative process behind painting murals and to foster a greater appreciation for the artform. This is the first event of its kind in Portland and the artists and organizers hope to turn it into an annual thing.
