New York City has some of the sketchiest elevators around. Sometimes you never know if you’re going to get stuck between floors, if the lights will go out, or worse, if the doors will close unexpectedly on you. There are numerous heart-thumping events that could happen.
Earlier today, a few people got to experience the downside of a NYC elevator ride. On their way out from the Philosophy fashion show, a crowd of magazine editors unexpectedly got stuck when the freight elevator they were on stalled. Thankfully everyone kept their cool, eventually getting out via a ladder and the help of others. Some even had the time to share their experiences on social media. Peep the Instagram video below.
