Can you believe that Opening Ceremony—with all the success and popularity it has gained—has never shown a collection at New York Fashion Week? It feels like its designers and founders, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, are everywhere, and they are. Their retail store is carrying high-end brands such as Raf Simons, they're designing cool collections for Kenzo, and doing collaborations with the likes of DKNY—which has made them two of the hottest names in the fashion industry. And the brand continues to do things its own way.

On September 8, OC will be holding a runway show and week-long pop-up event at NYC's Pier 57, WWDreports. Given that OC is an all-encompassing brand and retailer, it wants to make its shopper's connection something special. In reference to the event, Lim said, “It’s our version of giving guests the experience not only the day of the show. We thought, ‘Why not extend it for the entire fashion week?’”

We can't wait and see what Lim and Leon have in-store for the presentation.
