What does a top fashion designer and one of the richest living artists have in common? A passion for scarves apparently. Damien Hirst and Alexander McQueen are collaborating on a line of scarves as an anniversary celebration for McQueen's signature scarf print. There will be 30 limited-edition scarves available, with the cheapest being $476 (plus tax). According to Women's Wear Daily, the one-offs will incorporate elements of Hirst's “Entomology” series into McQueen's 10-year-old skull design and will be available in chiffon, pongé, twill and cashmere. You'll be able to step your scarf game up around mid-November at Alexander McQueen boutiques and the brand's website.
