Aaron De La Cruz is a multi-faceted artist whose work spans the realms of design, graffiti, and illustration. He recently collaborated with the Ace Hotel and Arkitip to release a limited-edition series of silkscreen prints inspired by his recent travels. Two of his prints will hang in the guest rooms at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club located in Palm Springs, and 50 prints of each design will be personally signed by De La Cruz.
Of the collaboration, De La Cruz says, “Having worked with Arkitip before on various projects, I was excited to have my work presented in an elevated environment that is outside of the gallery. For these works, I was imagining a range of emotions that I typically experience when I travel, from serenity to sometimes complete agitation. Both pieces represent this range. I feel that these two designs work really well as a body of work next to each other.”
