The last time we reached out to one of our more notable friends in an attempt to pull off the equally impossible and subjective task of narrowing down the most stylish men in the world, we went behind the lens with Tommy Ton. I mean, who better to select the best of the best than the man whose job it is to photography them for a living? For our second installment we're pulling a 180°, firmly planting ourselves on the other side.
Everybody knows Nick Wooster. In menswear's world of trickle-down trendonomics, there he is, at the pinnacle, dictating taste for the rest of us. Nick's innate understanding of men's clothing—how and why we wear what we wear—has turned him into a modern day style icon, inspiring a new generation to discover and obsession over fashion. Undoubtedly, he is #menswear's spirit guide. The first time I wrote about Nick, a million internet years ago in 2010, I marveled at his impressive and diverse professional pedigree, surmising that it was the perfect analogy to his wholly unique personal style. Since then, he's gone on to do so much more, proving that he is indeed worthy of all the praise, all the fans and all the admiration that guys like me have for one of the best dressed men in the world. If you don't believe me, surely you'll believe Tommy Ton, who placed Nick firmly on his own list. But Nick is a humble and wonderful guy, who's most likely completely embarrassed by everything I've just said. So, without further ado, let's get this fucking show on the road.
