Kendrick Lamar's Christopher Kane "Creature" Suit Was Anything but a Horror Show

Heat don't kill my vibe.

Kendrick Lamar is only beginning to tap his potential as a an emcee and stylish person. And he's already at the top of both games. It's kind of freakish. While everyone is talking about Kanye West breaking out the all-red Yeezy 2s at Governors Ball, Kendrick slid through and rocked a "Creature" suit by former Versus designer Christopher Kane.

The sweatsuit featured a black-and-white horror film monster on the front, replacing the much-used religious motif, and making an otherwise colorless outfit into one of the loudest statements made at the concert. To balance out all the B-movie imagery, the Compton emcee completed his outfit with some A+ sneakers: white-on-white Nike Air Force Ones—the essential summer sneaker.

It might have been hot out this weekend, and a sweatsuit might seem a touch of sync with the creeping in humidity, but don't expect Kendrick to sport shorts with a sweatshirt that dope. But, hey, L.A. rappers can take the heat and keep cool, right?
