While the usual Pitti suspects all made a strong showing from what I've seen, it is perhaps Isaia’s upstart little shit of a brother that is making the biggest waves. Eidos Napoli’s S/S 2014 collection is thoroughly sportswear, while many of their pieces can be dressed up in the high-end sprezzatura fashion of the brand’s big brother—this is a grip of clothes made to be worn care free for rambunctious young ballers (i.e. y’all flashy asshole reading Four Pins). With a heavy dose of Roman influence and huge pops of color, the brand looks poised to take the yung #menswear community by storm.

Antonio Ciongoli’s time at Michael Bastian as Deputy Creative Director shines through, lending an athletic flair to a wardrobe that otherwise feels like it could have been just as relevant 10 years ago. I know we make a lot of wild ass generalizations on this side, but pay attention and pick your fucking face out of the garbage when I say that Eidos Napoli looks like one of the strongest labels aimed at younger guys in a long time. The absence of false pretenses is this collection's biggest strength and without being trendy or gimmicky it looks like Ciongoli has managed to take Neapolitan menswear’s greatest hits and combine them into some form of sportswear-infused miracle formula.
