DALeast, a Chinese street artist based in South Africa, focuses on the bond between two beings in his new mural in Vienna, Austria. The work is named "一", the Chinese character for "one." DALeast's mural cleverly visualizes this title with two deer connected by a long, horizontal rope. While the two animals are connected by a physical bond, they seem unaware of their tie. DALeast commonly depicts creatures in the style of these two deer, as if they were made out of electrified wires. Are the two animals connected by a loving bond, or is one the other's old ball-and-chain?
