Basketball fans and artists around the world have the chance to make history. Announced via BlogMaverick (the official weblog of owner, Mark Cuban), the Dallas Mavericks are crowd sourcing to find a new design for the team's uniform. While the colors and logo must be the same, the team is hoping that some creative fan will step forward and create a fresh new look for the 2015-2016 season.
Once submitted, all materials become the property of the Dallas Mavericks for them to do with as they please and you will not be compensated, but how often can someone say that they designed a uniform for a NBA team? Diddy helped with the design of the 2003 uniform so you would be in elite company.
