Does Givenchy'sRiccardo Tisci know Marty McFly and Doctor Emmett Brown? Because the designer's collection for pre-spring 2014 collection isn't just an upcoming collection, it's a definite look into the future. It seems not that long ago that menswear fans had wondered if Givenchy's shark-print clothes had "jumped the shark," but the sign of a great thinker is the ability to reformulate your ideas and come correct with something fresh and new.

The latest preview from the French fashion house is mad on prints. It seems as if there wasn't a swatch of printed fabric that Tisci could turn down, but it's innovative in the sense that traditional floral and camo prints might be passe, and Tisci has made an attempt to divert from his expectations. Sure, we've wondered, "how many more times can the same thing be done?" So it's great to see a designer move the game in a different direction.

Tisci at times puts three or four different prints together, and even juxtaposes them with graphics. It's a daring take on what exactly is high fashion. One thing we do know: Expect to see celebrities and rappers go crazy on these loud pieces. If you thought clothing was getting too simple or all black, try just one piece from this collection and you're sure to stand out.
