Yoko Ono is not relenting in her plan to fight hydraulic fracturing, also known as fracking, in an attempt to persuade Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to find alternative approaches to extracting natural gas. She's altered John Lennon's famous "Imagine" lyrics with the phrase, "Imagine No Fracking," in six-foot-high poster art installations on the windows of ABC Carpet and Home (Broadway and 19th Street) in NYC. She has signed them with her initials, Y.O.

Ono says, “I immediately said ‘Yes’ when ABC asked me to take over their window displays to help spread the message to stop fracking our beautiful state. I was surprised by the courage of ABC to use all of their windows to express a message so important for people’s health. We need more brave people to speak up and join in the fight to save our land and water.”
