Almost exactly one year ago, we announced the Obey the Giant: The Story of Shepard Fairey film, directed by RISD student and former intern of Fairey's, Julian Marshall. Marshall was given story rights after plans for a documentary on Fairey's life never materialized, and he decided to turn the story into a narrative. Marshall says, “I told him, why don’t we do a project that’s factually based but technically a narrative, so that it’s based on a true story.”
Finally, the film is available to watch thanks to private donations, donations from Kickstarter, and Learned Vices. Watch it for free on Vimeo below.
