The 9/11 Memorial Museum is set to open its first exhibit next year, which will contain a multimedia collage made to document worldwide reactions to the event. As people walk in they will hear recordings of people across the globe explaining where they were and what they felt. Screens around the exhibit will show those recordings with words forming maps. The intent is to show that 9/11 was a global event.

The exhibit will also display tributes to those who died on that day and there will be emergency calls and voicemails from people who were in the towers, used with permission from the victims' families.
