Vogue revealed the First Lady Michelle Obama is the cover story for the magazine's April issue. Photographed Annie Leibovitz, the cover was shot in the White House's Green Room. Michelle seems to embrace her new bangs for her new shoot, displaying a completely different look from her first appearance on the cover of Vogue in 2009 (the last photo above as a side-by-side, also shot by Leibovitz).

The magazine caught both The First Lady and The President talking candidly: “The stresses and the pressures of this job are so real that when you get a minute,” Michelle Obama said, “You want to give that extra energy to your fourteen- and eleven-year-old.” “Although,” Barack Obama said, “as I joked at a press conference, now that they want less time with us, who knows? Maybe you’ll see us out in the clubs.”
