Photography has many different approaches and styles, but none are quite as unique as photographer Matthew Brandt's. While most photographers use the subject of the photo as the sole focus of the work, Brandt tackles his work in a whole new way, printing his photos with some of the strangest materials. Things like Cheez Wiz, Kool-Aid, Double Bubble, dust, and even a collection of human tears make an appearance in the above series. The artist describes his work as an "interaction between materials and image," thus organic substances and still photos collide in order to create this refreshing, exciting, and beautiful work.
