Leather is the go-to fashion fabric of the moment, and it doesn’t get any better than owning Schott’s iconic Perfecto jacket. Interestingly enough it was built for function more than fashion. Everything about the design was thought out so that motorcycle riders could be comfortable on their choppers. It was the first brand to use zippers on a jacket, and the classic asymmetrical design was to prevent wind and less bunching up when sitting down. Vice Magazine breaks down the history and provides and informative look into this classic look. Can you believe it originally cost $5.50? Damn you inflation.
