So many brands are guilty of stocking fancier and more expensive gear to get you to buy lower-priced items. It's called price perception, you just don't know it yet. For example, stores like J.Crew will place luxurious items priced at $500 and up around on shiny displays, only for you to look at the tag and be disappointed. But then you see something else similar for $100. It's way less than that high-end shit, but just as awesome, so you cop it and feel good about your purchase. Well guess what, your budget was $75 in the first place and you just got swindled.
