The Mayor of London Chooses Zaha Hadid Architects to Build a New Airport Hub

The facility is meant to bolster the British economy.

Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, has contracted Zaha Hadid Architectsto develop a new multi runway airport hub in the southeast region of the city. The project is meant to help the nation's aviation crisis, giving the British economy a much needed boost in the arena of much more successful global rivals.

Hadid said of the project: "This work is essential to deliver the most integrated transport solutions for London and the UK. It will enable London to maintain its position as one of the world's most important economic, commercial and cultural centers, outlining the city's future growth and development, which has always been founded on global connectivity."

We can't wait to see it when it's completed.
