Twitter pics and Instagrams can be pretty bland and repetitive over time. Most people document themselves doing the same activities, even if some are stunting more creatively than others.

Astronaut Chris Hadfield took it farther (literally) than any of our IG friends every could. He's showing us our world from his point of view in orbit from his five-month journey aboard the International Space Station in mesmerizing photographs. In that time he's gained over 296K followers on Twitter and taken more amazing photos than we can possibly post. He specifies the places he's aerial photographing (Papa New Guinea, South Africa, Colombia, Mozambique, and more) and casually tweets about their various activities at the ISS.

In many ways, Hadfield is literally providing an unprecedented view into the lives of astronauts, if not also our incredible Earth.
