Illustrator Simon John Thompson has an interesting sense of humor. He has a real talent of creating off-kilter vintage cartoon scenes, reminiscent of the times when cartoons ventured into mature themes. It takes a certain kind of person to create a picture of a hawk grabbing a person's entrails from his neck flying towards a man with a brown paper bag on his face with a middle finger in the air holding a drooling gigantic blue dog. Risque taste aside, the artist proves he has printing skills and an endless fountain of ideas.
