Pharrell made headlines last year for reasons beyond his music, first with the release of his book Pharrell: The Places and Spaces I've Been and second with a Design Miami lecture about his art and design philosophies, where Kanye showed up to surprise him during the Q&A. In his most recent interview with Hypebeast, Pharrell speaks on many subjects, from Miley Cyrus' new music to working with Mark McNairy, and how he doesn't have a social life in order to balance all that he does. When asked about his upcoming projects in the design sphere, Pharrell confirmed an upcoming collaboration with architect Zaha Hadid on a prefab house that the two only casually discussed in his book:

"There’s a collaboration I’m working with Zaha Hadid, we’re touring around with the idea of a prefab for a house.

When asked if it was still in the planning stages, Pharrell said,

"Well, we’re going to see something through."

Pharrell working on a prefab house with the great Zaha Hadid? Now that's something to look forward to. Read the rest of the interview to learn more about his creative process, being grounded in music, and how his book is a giant thank you to all who've inspired him.
