Documentary "The Legend of Cool 'Disco' Dan" Pays Respect to the Influential D.C. Tagger (Video)

During the 80s, Cool "Disco" Dan was an anonymous tagger in Washington D.C. who achieved enough street credit to warrant a new documentary entitled The Legend of Cool "Disco" Dan. The film narrated by rocker Henry Rollins explains the story of the legend and how he served as a voice of the people. The movie also explains the history of Washington's go-go scene and the struggles the city had with crack that led D.C. to become the nation's murder capital. The film will finally be released at the AFI Silver Theaterin Sliver Spring, Maryland on Saturday, February 23. You can see the trailer here.
