With Obama's reelection comes a new official Presidential portrait. This new one (on the left) was shot by official White House photographer Pete Souza on December 6, 2012 using a Canon 5D Mark III and two octobox lights.

As Petapixel points out, his first portrait from four years ago (on the right) is not as evenly lit, as evidenced by zooming in on the President's eyes. Additionally, the first portrait was shot with a Canon 5D Mark II and shows a noticeably younger President. The newer portrait has Obama showing his teeth for a bigger smile, perhaps to celebrate another four years in office.
