Why It Works: Levi's has been pushing the envelope lately and embraced technological fabrics, just look at their Commuter collection, which features fabrics treated with Schoeller's NanoSphere, and anti-microbial technology from Clariant. They followed it up with a Nike collaboration that had skaters in mind, taking Nike's Dri-Fit technology and applying it to a pair of jeans and Trucker Jacket. A collaboration with designer Yosuke Aizawa's White Mountaineering—a Japanese outfit known for their balance of technology, design, and pragmatism—would be a huge get for both brands.

What We'd Like to See: Fishtail parkas with contrasting denim panels, Gore-Tex Trucker Jackets, Windstopper vests with denim details at the placket and collar, herringbone trousers and moleskin pants cut like the 505.
