If menswear had its own version of the most interesting man in the world, designer Umit Benan would fit the mold perfectly. Besides the obvious facial hair similarities, he wears invisible shoes but the rest of the world thinks he’s barefoot, and his alarm clock are the sounds of people cheering and clapping because he stays in bed during his own show. All kidding aside, the man creates some sharp duds.
The designer presents his lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection building on his past presentation of “I Once Loved A Woman Who Loves Menswear” theme. As admirers who love hot women who dress in guy’s clothes you already know this gets a co-sign.
