Apparently, some of the scenes from the film were shot at the designer's home at the Plaza.

According to the New York Post, parts of Baz Luhrman's The Great Gatsby were shot at Tommy Hilfiger's Plaza apartment. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire were reportedly seen filming at the designer's apartment overlooking Central Park. If you recall, author F. Scott Fitzgerald had one of the scenes take place in a Plaza suite as well.
