Los Angeles has been making a major effort to extend and improve its public transportation, specifically in extending its Metro lines. American artist Andrew Leicester was recently commissioned to design LA's Metro Gold Line Bridge extension. The bridge extension is unique; instead of the usual eyesore above you on the highway, this bridge captures the aesthetic of Native American culture and history local to the area. This extension rail will connect the greater Los Angeles area to its inner city, in addition to its historical roots.
