Maybe you like birds, maybe you like architecture, or maybe you like minimal spaces and exposed wood. In any of those cases, the Nest House in Onomichi, Japan is a home to be inspired by. Designed by architecture firm UID, the house resides at the foot of a mountain in Onomichi City and resembles an actual nest. The open floor plan allows for easy family congregating. In speaking of their design philosophy, UID says, "Although non-sequence composition of the floors and the walls make the architectural elements look separated, they will become essentials that link architecture and the surrounding in succession, when viewing the environment on the whole."
