Bicycle Taxidermy is a humane substitute for living trophies, and a clever way to show off that tired, worn out, bike of yours. The company was founded by Regan Appleton, a Scottish designer and graduate of the Royal College of Art. After reassembling portions of his father's once prized but long discarded mountain and road bikes, Regan realized he was onto something big. By mounting the bike's handlebars to a European oak plaque sealed with beeswax, the designer came to the conclusion that Bicycle Taxidermy would become his focus, and soon offered the public a chance to order custom wall-mounted trophies of their own.
