Since 1995 Angie Hiesl has been creating a visual theatrical installation called “x-times people chair” Hiesl employs the use of 60-70 year olds to sit 20 feet above the street in white steel chairs attached to the side of buildings. The performers only duty is to sit in the chair and perform everyday activities like reading the paper, slicing bread and folding clothes.
