This month has seen a lot of new exciting film projects coming out. It is great to see such a diverse mix of new ideas & even better to see people trying out new things. New products, fallen soldiers, developments in ways of getting up, and a mish-mash of pieces accompany the films on this months list.

Not much you can add to this really. Looks like Montana have made a way to do graffiti a lot quicker. Sure that will come in handy for stuff.

6. Sawe Film

Another example of good things happening with graffiti films. This clip is a colaboration between film maker Herokid & Catalunian illustrator/graffiti writer, Sawe for the Concrete Walls project. The creepy music and animation layed over the top of the artists' face and limbs, is a really simple & great idea. Sawe is a serious talent from Barcelona- one to watch out for in future!

Graffiti legend, Stay High 149 passed away on June 11th at the age of 62.  His trademark "The Saint" tag was one of the of the most iconic tags in the history of graffiti. Rest in Peace Stay High.

2. Evan Roth X Katsu

Not Available Interstitial
Graffiti Research Lab has always stayed clear of producing projects which involve traditional graffiti or graffiti writers- the projects always involve the spirit of graffiti, but they are more rooted in technological innovation rather than vandalism and stylised letter-forms. Katsu is rooted in graffiti but has always pushed things forward in terms of the way he uses his name to get up. Both entities are the masters of what they do within graffiti, so this should make for an interesting project.

1.The Detroit Beautification Project

This is such a nice idea & a well executed & edited film to accompany it. It is good to see Revok putting together a team of some of the best graffiti writers in world to change the face of Detroit. The film states that the project is never-ending, as more writers come to the city in the future.
