Brooklyn-based artist Olek traveled to Brasil for the 2012 SESC Arts Show in order to encase an alligator-shaped playground in her characteristic crochet coverings. Taking North Carolinan yarn and ribbon from Brasil, it took her and a group of helpers a few weeks to finish the piece, which will be up until July 29. [ThisIsColossal]
