Are we in a graphic tee renaissance or what? It seems like every week we're finding screen printed gems worth real, actual currency, which, for us at least, is unprecedented. Our most recent find is this number from blog turned blog shop, This Is Not New. Featuring a screencap you've probably seen floating around Tumblr, like, all the fucking time, this tee is the holy grail for early to mid 20-year-olds who think their taste in movies will actually get them laid (it won't). The scene, from Jean-Luc Godard's iconic 1967 French New Wave film Weekend, is one of those iconic fashion related moments in cinema—after a violent car crash the female lead, Corinne played by Mireille Darc, watches as her prized Hermès handbag burns in the wreckage. Her quote ("My Hermès Handbag!"), subtitles on obviously, and the accompanying imagery make for one hell of a T-shirt. It's $40, which, the more we think about it, is probably what a charred Hermès bag would run you.
