With the euro zone in an economic crisis unparalleled by anything we've ever seen before, it doesn't come as a total shocker that Vogue Italia's editor-in-chief managed to get fashion's greatest amateur hour extended to our beloved Florentian borders. That's right, the sartorial circus that is Fashion's Night Out has been confirmed for Florence, Italy (September 18). This is both good and bad news. The good part is the companies participating will be donating all sales proceeds to the families of a northern-Italy region recently hit by an earthquake. Kudos to them. The bad part is, well, the stylish image of Italy we've all come to know and love will undoubtedly be ruined by a mass of people flooding the streets looking like regular idiots.
