Monica Bonvicini's “Run” sculpture is one of many installations for the London Olympics’
“Art in the Park”. Bonvicini’s work is inspired by musical references such as Neil Young’s Running dry and The Velvet Underground’s “Run Run Run”. The installation is once of the largest stand aloe pieces in the program included in the program standing 30 feet tall. Even with its enormity Run somehow manages to mesh with its surroundings, mirroring them during the day and creating an exciting focal point at night using illumination and light reflections.
