Lernert & Sander helped to celebrate the 50th anniversary of paint manufacturer Sikkens Prize with 10 different color versions. In talking about the project, they said:
"Since the first Sikkens Prize was awarded in 1960 to the architect Gerrit Rietveld, we stripped down his red and blue chair and created 10 different chairs. Each chair depicting the recognizable color use of different winners over the last 50 years."
