Before the popular wayfarer model, Ray-Ban went into the eyewear business with the iconic aviator shades, which were created to protect the eyes of fighter pilots.  As the company enters its 75th Anniversary, it pays homage to the OG teardrop lenses with the Ambermatic Collection

Three models are available; the Shooter, the Outdoorsman, and the Aviator (which comes in two sizes). The shades feature a distinct ambermatic lens that turns darker depending on light and temperature. Limited to only 18,000 in production, these shades are available now on the Ray-Ban website.
