Ovadia & Sons Team Up With J. Press

None

There may not be a hotter design duo in menswear than the Ovadia brothers and storied, Ivy League clothier J. Press apparently agrees. Shimon and Ariel have just signed a new deal that will see them become creative directors for a new collection hitting S/S 13. The collection, whose name is still being kept under wraps, will be a younger, fresher look at the clothes J. Press have been making for decades. If this sounds familiar, you might recall J. Press' most recent collaboration with Urban Outfitters, which while garnering a good amount of initial press, was ultimately met with fairly unanimous disdain in terms of both design and quality. After speaking to the brothers first hand about this exciting new project, fans can expect their take on what Ralph Lauren is currently exploring with Rugby - a collegiate look that's up to date. This is a bold move by the now Japanese controlled J. Press, but one that is likely to breath some much needed new life into a brand that in recent years has felt stagnant and behind the times.
