Kevin Cyr captures New York City grit with impeccable detail. His latest series, In Praise Of Rust, finds beauty in decaying vehicles. Speckled with graffiti, these working vans and trucks are full of character and ephemeral reminders of the street level aesthetic of the Big Apple. Cyr's larger body of work focuses on technology and mobility, as well as environmental issues. In this case, he talks often ignored material out of context and vaults the common truck to monumental stature.

In Praise Of Rust runs through June 16, 2012.
