With a little bit of help from the CFDA's Fashion Incubator, Public School stormed back into menswear's collective consciousness with a much buzzed about and stellar F/W 12 presentation. Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne have always been the two coolest guys in the room, and after a two year hiatus in which they reworked their line, it seems as if the fashion world is finally ready to crown the New York City duo. Masters of combining downtown edge with classic menswear, their F/W 12 collection broke new ground for the emerging mashup culture that seems poised to takeover today's market. Dao-Yi and Maxwell have stood on this precipice before and, it should come as no surprise, that they find themselves there once again. Never wavering, simply rebuilding, Public School is officially back.
